EDIC – Education Data & Integrity Council

A neutral authority for academic integrity, result attribution, and credibility in education.

EDIC exists to ensure academic credit is given to those who genuinely contribute — institutions, teachers, and students.

Why EDIC Exists

During admission seasons, false or misleading academic result claims are frequently made. Students are often credited by institutions they did not formally study with, while teachers' genuine academic contributions remain unacknowledged.

As a result, parents are required to make important educational decisions based on claims that are difficult to independently verify.

There is currently no neutral, independent referee to validate such claims. EDIC is being created to address this gap.

What EDIC Does

EDIC DOES:

  • Validate academic result attribution
  • Verify institutional academic claims
  • Document verified teacher contribution
  • Support transparency during admission cycles

EDIC DOES NOT:

  • Rank institutions
  • Sell admissions or leads
  • Promote or advertise any institution
  • Replace school or coaching management systems

Current Status

EDIC is currently preparing a limited pilot framework for admission-season academic claim validation. Initial pilots will be evidence-based and selectively conducted.

Pilot Participation

Institutions interested in participating in the pilot may get in touch.

Please review the EDIC Pilot Participation Framework (v1) for eligibility, scope, and process details.

Information submitted will be used solely for pilot communication purposes.
